Hartley People Recruitment are currently recruiting for our client, a leading IT company, for a Senior Field Service Engineer/Helpdesk Technician role which is based in their South-East office.

The Role:

The Senior Field Service Engineer/Helpdesk Technician will be required to manage complex projects, as well as deal with the day to day issues of a large client base. The successful candidate will take ownership of complex technical issues from escalation to resolution while building strong relationships with clients.

Skills Required:

  • 3 years field service experience
  • Microsoft Server Technologies, SBS and Server Standard 2003 - 2008
  • MCSE or MCITP Cert desirable but not essential
  • Relevant field service experience essential
  • Microsoft Hyper V / experience with server Virtualisation
  • Detailed knowledge of MS Exchange and Active Directory
  • Ability to work alone and project manage
  • Sonicwall, Draytek, Cisco experience an advantage
  • Full driving license and good customer service skills essential
