My client, a leading Pharma company in the Cork subarbs, now has a 10 month contract vacancy for a lead project planner to join the team. This role will be part-time until the end of April and full time for the remainder of the year.

ROLE PURPOSE:

To coordinate the planning and reporting function of one key site project whilst developing an integrated schedule. This key role will be tasked with designing, implementing and updating project plans for an integrated site production schedule. The role will also be responsible for the project reporting function both internally to Senior Management and to external customers; this will include design of reporting templates, implementation and collation on weekly/monthly basis, monitored by accuracy.

GENERAL SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Schedule development, maintenance and analysis
• Progress review and evaluation
• Generate regular reports as required by senior management, project sponsors, corporate capital bodies and all relevant stakeholders
• Project Related Resource Planning
• Assist in the identification of schedule slippages, poor productivity and or resource constraints for all project elements.
• Integration and development of sub projects

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL
• 3-5 years experience in a Project Planning role preferably in a regulated Pharmaceutical or IT Industry
• Primavera Project Planning Software knowledge (P3 and P6)
• Excellent Microsoft Office Skill
• Proven track record of managing and coordinating complex projects
• Demonstrable competence gained in a Project Planning role

DESIRABLE:

• Hands on experience in planning/scheduling of large Enterprise Computer Systems an advantage

• Certificate in Primavera Product Suite

• Degree Level education

KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Have the initiative & ability to work by themselves and as part of a team

• Highly motivated, adaptable and flexible.

• Strong organisational and analytical skills

• Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise work
