Duties:
· Involved with the improvement of existing manufacturing processes interfacing with production and engineering groups in resolving problems encountered on the production floor
· Participate on project teams with engineers, technicians and other professionals of various disciplines/departments to continuously improve product, equipment, and fixture processes on the manufacturing line
· Perform process validations, software validation
· Equipment development and optimisation
· Perform engineering work typically including one of the following: process/product improvements, test of materials, preparation of specifications, process study, evaluation of process models/process improvements, development improvement of equipment, tools, fixtures and report preparation
· Interface with vendors and other outside specialists
· Project planning , risk analysis, Project implementation
· Process FMEA (Failure Mode Effects Analysis) review and update
Skills & Qualifications
· Degree in Science or Engineering and at least 3 years regulated industry experience
· Experience working on process improvement projects
· Lean Manufacturing experience is desirable
· Previous experience working with quality systems and compliance
· The ability to work co-operatively and effectively with others to establish and maintain good working relationships.
