Quality Engineer - Bolton
Role:
+Quality Engineer will establish and implement a programme of QA activities for assigned projects to confirm that planned processes are implemented effectively and suitable to achieve objectives.
+Quality Engineer will provide Programmes and Functional Management with an 'independent' view on the quality of deliverables, associated quality risks and areas for improvement.
+ Establish appropriate corrective actions with the development managers to ensure that non conformities, issues and risks are managed and that action is taken to avoid recurrence.
+Support sub-contractor capability assessments where necessary.
+Support the Quality Technical Manager on project assignments to achieve QA and acceptance requirements to programme and budget.
* Quality Systems / Software professional experienced in process-based management systems in a design and development environment.
* Knowledge of systems and software processes including national and international standards and assurance requirements.
* Engineering Degree, or equivalent, with an understanding of new and appropriate technologies.
* High level communication and interpersonal skills.
* Trained and experienced auditor / assessor.
* Comprehensive knowledge of the MBDA's organization, policies and procedures is desirable.
* A practitioner of current QA problem solving methods (QA Tool Box) is desirable.
