R&D Manufacturing Technician - Co. Galway Excellent Basic Salary and Benefits Package

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a highly recognised organisation in the role of R&D Manufacturing Technician. 2-3 years experience in a similar role within a highly regulated environment is essential (med device/ pharma).

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • producing and monitoring sample and prototype builds
  • assist in the development of prototypes
  • documenting information gathered and making suggestions to work instructions and procedures
  • assist in machine set ups for sample and product runs
  • understand and develop a range of operating programs for equiptment
  • carry out validation and testing of new materials
  • be responsible for following safety systems
  • standard production work where required
To apply for this role, you must:

  • have at minimum a Diploma qualification in Manufacturing or Engineering as long as you have relevant industry experience
  • a Degree qualification would be of distinct advantage
  • experience in a highly regulated environment, in particular medical device
  • experience with laser welding/ marking and or cutting
  • excellent analytical skills
  • excellent attention to detail
  • excellent understanding of machines
  • solid team and project skills
