Logistics Manager - Co. Galway Excellent Basic Salary and Benefits Package

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Logistics professional to join a larges scale operation in this essential role. Previous experience in a Head Office Logistics focused role is essential. In this role, you will be required to manage a substantial logistics function for the company to include warehousing and distribution. The role will report directly to the Commercial Director.

Responsibilities:

  • responsible for all movement of goods
  • work closely with buying and operations to ensure all requirements are met
  • manage budgets
  • ensuring value for money is achieved through efficiences
  • manage relationships with logistics providers
  • ensure accuracy of stock information on systems
  • team management within the logistics department
Requirements:

  • qualified to Degree Level
  • minimum of 5 years management exoperience in a logistics environment
  • experience with SAP would be an advantage
  • strong organisational and administrative skills
  • excellent interpersonal and numeracy skills
  • have an apetite for hard work
