Kitting Planner required by CareerWise Recruitment for our Cork client. This is a 12 Month contract. This is a key role responsible for the planning and procurement of assigned products, while supporting the S&OP process, Customer Service levels and inventory targets. This covers procurement of product from either inter-company or external suppliers as based on products assigned.

THE ROLE:
*Manage day-to-day purchasing and planning
*Publish key metrics reports.
*Follow-up on any critical supply issues and communicate with relevant market.
*Maintain accuracy of promise dates.
*Return kits to vendors as required.
*Expedite past due orders with suppliers and resolve PO discrepancies for managed vendors.
*Be one point of contact for any daily queries on kits, SharePoint site and managed vendors.
*Attend necessary meetings/calls as required
*Support project work as required.

REQUIREMENTS:
*Of Graduate Calibre ideally with 3 years + of Planning/Purchasing, logistics or similar experience gained within a multinational environment.
*Ideally has member of IIPMM, CPIM or similar body.
*Ability to work with detailed analysis of statistical information.
*Strong negotiation and influencing skills and ability to build relationships across various levels, functions and suppliers.
*Good communication and presentation skills.
