THE ROLE:
?In partnership with the Business Architect, facilitate the concept phase for all IT-enabled initiatives:
oDocument current and future state business process and information flow maps
oPerform root cause analysis to identify current state process inefficiencies
oDevelop qualitative and quantitative business cases for process improvements and automation initiatives
?Support business assessment reviews, Kaizen events and walk-throughs for Biologics Strategic initiatives, including both MMD and MRL standard technologies such as WERUM, ELN, Manufacturing Intelligence tools including PI, and others.
?Develop detailed functional requirement specification from high level business concepts
?Partner with the Business Architect or senior BA to develop solution alternatives for business requirements and ensure alignment with IT Architecture and Biologics Business Strategy
?Lead the development of Quality Assurance Plans to set quality parameters and expectations for deliverables across all phases of the Company SLC
?Lead the development of Test Plans and Test Scripts that can be traced back to functional requirement specifications and ensure that all requirements are tested satisfactorily
?Support User Acceptance Test (UAT) activities to ensure quality of the end user deliverables
?Coordinate end user training program development
REQUIREMENTS:
?The IT Business Analyst should have a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, and experience with Biologics and/or Vaccines process development/manufacturing activities is desired. Specific knowledge and experience with business process engineering is necessary. Broad, comprehensive understanding of business processes as they relate to Biologics or Vaccines process development and/or manufacturing is highly desired. Ability to develop, articulate and build support around a long term vision and implement incremental milestones in support of that vision is required. Demonstrated leadership in achieving shared objectives within a matrixed organization, and building effective cross-functional teams and relationships is necessary. In addition, the successful candidate must have:
? A minimum of 4 years experience in the areas of business requirements analysis and gathering, and business process engineering in a client facing role.
?Minimum 2 years of demonstrated project management experience.
*Bachelor's degree required. Concentration in computer science, information technology, or relevant prior experience is preferred.
