Head of Employee Development sought for large semi-state organisation. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years experience in a Employee Development / Talent Management role in a large organisation.
Working closely with the Group Director of HR you will be responsible for the development programme for the organisation. This is a three year contract position and will be based in North Dublin.
The role will involve:
- Accelerate the development and implementation of a Talent management strategy related to performance management, succession planning, Talent acquisition and retention, Talent assessment instruments, and training and development offerings that align with the organisation’s goals.
- Design, develop, and lead the implementation of an integrated Talent management system that provides for strengthening the leadership and technical Talent required to achieve the organisations’s strategic objectives.
- Consult with employees and line managers on Organisational and Talent Effectiveness issues, including performance management, communication and change management.
- Create and implement an effective resource/ recruitment agenda and forecasting process to facilitate career planning and succession management.
- Implement a competency-based leadership development strategy to ensure the organisation’s ability to meet future leadership needs. Comprehensive succession planning , leadership development programmes and all aspects of career planning internally in the business.
- Expand coaching and development services across the business.
- Assist in the development and implementation of major change initiatives, transformations & projects.
- Collaborate with the HR leadership team to ensure the Performance Management process is contributing in a positive way to the organisation’s goals in relation to High Performance and Organisation Capability.
