We currently have an opportunity for a Manager within the Credit division of a leading bank. The role will be focused on creating and implementing credit policy in relation to the retail and mortgage sectors of the bank.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- The primary accountability of the jobholder’s role will be to focus on Retail and Mortgage Credit Frameworks
- Assist the Senior Manager in the formulation of credit risk appetite, commensurate with overall strategy and risk appetite.
- Provide input to any credit risk appetite risk policy statements and evaluation of proposed credit risk appetite and credit policy changes.
- Contribute to the development and review of Credit and Collections Risk framework, strategy and policies.
- Develop credit risk policy standards owned by the Head of Credit Frameworks and ensure development and maintenance of an appropriate suite of credit risk policies and guidelines regarding Credit and Collections Risk.
- Contribute to setting standards and ensure establishment of appropriate credit authorities’ frameworks.
- Support the Senior Manager, Credit Frameworks in the allocation of capital through provision of credit and collections insights.
- Where required, deputise for the Senior Manager, Credit Frameworks in the credit framework discussions with Senior Management.
- Support the Senior Manager, Credit frameworks in interactions with regulatory authorities.
