Job Description
POSITION OVERVIEW
A vacancy /position in EMEA Inside Sales has arisen for a Sales Technical Trainer to develop the technical competencies of our EMEA Sales Team.

The Sales Technical Trainer will provide Inside Sales professionals with appropriate, targeted and interactive training for this core competency in order to develop the next generation of Sales Leaders at EMC.
Covering all EMC's primary product solutions, curricula will focus on the entire EMC Portfolio for different market segments (SMB, Commercial Mid Market, and Enterprise)
This role is heavily geared towards the creation and leveraging of published materials, modifying them and delivery for a Sales Audience.
A range of delivery methods will be required for an international team.
Learners will range from Graduates, New Hire Reps, Support teams, Senior Field Ready Account Managers and Snr. Management.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Leverage complex materials and optimize knowledge management within Inside Sales, thereby ensuring continuous IT skill development.Design & Deliver case studies, communicate industry updates, facilitate competition workshops, and training events for EMEA Inside Sales Teams.Prepare and deliver weekly workshops to a multicultural Sales Audience that are participatory and learner centered.Anticipate corporate and functional training needs from an operational & strategic planning perspective. Work with Global Sales Program leaders regarding the overall technical training objectives, required resources and course scheduling.
Contribute to the career progression of the Inside Sales Teams by building the Technical /Solutions competencies required for a variety of roles within the organization.Liaise with Product Marketing, Sales Development, Global Ed Services, EMEA Productivity & Training teams locally and on a corporate level.
REQUIRED SKILLS and EXPERIENCE
A minimum of 3-5 years designing & delivering technical curriculum ideally in a Storage Sales EnvironmentProven experience and a working knowledge of Information Storage Infrastructure, Networking, Operating Systems and IT applications, Data Center and Open Systems Operations. Ability to deliver training to a business audience with varying technical competency levels (New Hires, Senior Account Managers , Support Staff, Senior Management )Possesses a Strong desire to train, coach and develop people.Exceptional presentation and facilitation skillsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to influence and enable a large diverse team.Project management skills, preferably with Industry standard accreditations. Flexibility to travel. EMC Proven Professional / Industry Equivalent Qualifications desirable.2nd Language desirable
