- Design and develop .Net technical solutions for key business programs
- Consult with internal staff members to gather information about program needs, objectives, functions, features, and input and output requirements
- Develop high quality code that is fit for purpose and conforms to coding standards for performance and security
- Create technical specifications and development timelines/estimates as part of an iterative development cycle
- Delivering all development iterations on time and to defined quality standards
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience within a similar role
- Excellent command of .NET, Web Services using XML, SOAP & WSDL
- Experience and competency in .Net Framework up to 4.0, VS 2010
- Strong database development skills and experience including logical design and SQL programming. MS SQL Server 2008 R2
- Competent in deployment to .net application servers and associated server environments
- Proven ability to work under pressure and deliver within tight deadlines
- Proven analytic and problem solving abilities
- An enthusiasm for software development and emerging technologies
- Knowledge of COBOL advantageous
- Knowledge of Oracle/RDB advantageous
