Telecoms Support Engineer (financial services client) based inDublin, this is a renowned employer with strong family values and they support IT regionally around EU. This role has responsibilities primarily for installing, configuring & troubleshooting Avaya Nortel Equipment (call centre 5) and deliver telephony support to solve customer’s issues around EMEA facilitates and look at new projects / upgrades and give advice on telecoms strategy to the IT group; manage the incident support queue and ensure a specialist is assigned to calls who resolve Support calls within a Service Level Agreement; implementation of Telephony systems into Production for Canada Life Europe.
To qualify you will have ideally an existing Avaya Nortel Certification and 3 years support experience (Avaya call centre 5 or similair). You will be able to work on own initiative, have strong customer support experience and a good work ethic, and ideally have some Nortel / Avaya certifications. You will have excellent working knowledge of Avaya Telephony systems, Avaya CMS VOIP and QOS. and Modular Messaging.
NICE TO HAVES - & Nortel Telephony systems (Succession, Contact Centre 6, CallPilot, Phonemaster) would be of benefit. Certification such as CCNA
