The Controls Engineer will help develop the Company's strategy for controls and systems engineering. He/she will specify and manage all controls and instrumentation requirements for the business with a focus on vacuum systems and equipment.
The Controls Engineer will also support the business with expertise in instrumentation and controls.

 Design control systems for systems
 Standardise and modularise business control requirements and define control architectures
 Specify Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) for systems
 Specify software requirements
 Write or construct operating manuals for controls and systems
 Write build and test specifications
 Construct Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID)
 Program PLCs and use of Ladder Logic
 Manage CE/UL approvals
 Establish partners and sourcing strategy for controls
 Support design and engineering to commercialise products
 Support customer projects from start to finish

 5+ years' practical experience of systems engineering, particularly from modular system controls
 3+ years' experience from specifying software (HMI)
 3+ years' experience in technical documentation/specification
 Proficient and excellent understanding of electrical systems and wiring
 Proficient in MS Office/Excel/Project
 Experience in 3rd party interfaces
