You will be self-motivated, capable of working on your own initiative and have the ability to plan, control and complete audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients. Duties and Responsibilities
o Preparation of accounts and financial statements
o Assist in maintaining and developing key client relationships
o Audit of companies across a variety of business sectors
o Design and implementation of audit plans
o Ensure completion of assignments within appropriate budget and timeframe
o Manage a team of trainees while on assignment
o Responsible for development and mentoring of trainees and staff
o Due diligence assignments
o Involvement in fundraising exercises
o Advise clients on setting up new structures and systems
o Support role in advisory and business planning arrangements
Position Requirements
o Be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or similar qualification)
o Have strong technical knowledge
o Have strong experience in audit engagements
o Have experience in a top 10 practice
o Have worked with a diverse portfolio of clients
o Be capable of working on your own initiative
o Be ambitious and want to pursue a career in practice
o Strong interpersonal skills are essential
