Harmonics recruitment is currently recruiting for a Limerick city based role, reporting to the Accounting Manager, the candidate’s duties will entail a high level of daily, weekly and monthly reporting both for Ireland and European based entities.

  • Working within a small team to achieve these goals and to meet month-end reporting deadlines.
  • Responsibilities will include support of monthly financial close process, including reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and income statement analysis.
  • Liaising with external auditors and government authorities.
  • Preperation and submission of interstat and VIES returns.
  • Account Payable payment proposals and transacting of same.
  • Maintaining the fixed assets register.
  • Attending cyclical stock counts and reviewing results of same.
  • Working closely with colleagues to collect information and follow through to process end.

Relevant experience or qualifications required

The successful candidate should have a recognized accountancy qualification.

The applicant will have :

  • 3 to 5 years of experience ideally in a multi-national environment, with ERP system,
  • Full understanding of taxation and regulatory requirements,
  • Strong communication skills with experience of developing and sustaining cooperative working relationship,
  • Excellent level of Excel Experience
  • The capacity to work to deadlines and on own initiatives
