An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Management Lead to join a growing organisation delivering innovative engineering and energy management solutions to large industrial clients.

This role is ideal for a motivated project management professional who enjoys leading complex projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and driving operational excellence and sustainability initiatives. You will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of engineering and energy management projects.
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, contractors, suppliers, and client stakeholders.
  • Monitor project performance, managing risks, issues, and change effectively.
  • Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, budget, and timelines.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and reporting.
  • Prepare project documentation, presentations, and progress reports for senior stakeholders.
  • Support the implementation of energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives across industrial sites.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant quality, environmental, and safety standards.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement best project management practices.
  • Mentor and support team members while fostering a collaborative working environment.

About You

You are an experienced Project Manager with excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills. You have a proven track record of delivering complex engineering or industrial projects and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Energy Management, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years' project management experience within engineering, manufacturing, industrial, or energy sectors.
  • Strong experience managing project budgets, schedules, and resources.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and risk management capabilities.
  • Experience using recognised project management methodologies.
  • Full driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites when required.

Desirable

  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent Project Management certification.
  • Experience with energy management, sustainability, or decarbonisation projects.
  • Knowledge of ISO 50001, ISO standards, LEED, or similar frameworks.
  • Familiarity with energy monitoring systems or engineering software.
