Regional Finance Director role with a multinational business based in Newry.

About Your New Job

• Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts and financial reports promptly to ensure accurate financial insights.
• Manage weekly cash flow forecasting, ensuring adherence to agreed bank facility limits.
• Develop, monitor, and update budgets and costing systems to support strategic decision-making.
• Provide detailed financial analysis to drive business development and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with taxation deadlines while maintaining strong relationships with auditors, bankers, and external stakeholders.
• Enhance corporate governance processes to improve financial controls and regulatory compliance.
• Take full responsibility for the accuracy and integrity of credit control and purchase ledgers, effectively managing the performance of financial teams.
• Monitor working capital trends to ensure effective cash flow management and financial stability.
• Act as a strategic business partner, collaborating with departments to deliver high-quality financial support.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.

What You Need

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc) with strong leadership experience.
• Experience within the industrial sector (construction, manufacturing, distribution etc) would be advantageous.
• Commercially driven mindset, combining strategic financial planning with business growth initiatives.
• Proven technical expertise in financial management, capable of handling complex financial operations.
• Willingness to travel to head office in Europe once per month.
• Stamp 4 or EU Passport required (sponsorship not on offer).
