Financial Controller - Manufacturing

My client within the Manufacturing Industry have a requirement for an experienced Financial Controller who is fully qualified with at least 6 years or more pqe, and you must have managed finance team and all month end duties for 3 years or more. To be suitable you must be coming from manufacturing, distribution or similar Industry

About Your New Job

• Building and managing the finance systems and team with a high-performance ethos.
• Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts.
• Build and report metrics and KPIs on each area of the business through the language of finance.
• Completing management & financial accounts, business plans and financial projections as required.
• Review underlying trends, assist with target setting and communicating current and future trading position to senior management team.
• Prepare detailed commercial analysis to understand business performance and prepare monthly commentary for senior management team.
• Own the long-term business plan and related projections and update as required.
• Prepare detailed variance analysis between budgets and actuals and report and understand variances and impact on future trends.
• Develop strong relationships with all members of the senior management team and be a trusted driver for positive change and excellence.

What skills you need

• Qualified Accountant who has worked as Financial Controller for 5 years or more
• Must have managed a team within finance and all the day to day duties
• Coming from manufacturing or similar Industry
