CareerWise Recruitment are looking to recruit a number of Product Builders in Oranmore, Galway. These roles are shift positions. Shift Pattern: (12 Hr Shifts) Hours are 7.00 am - 7.00 pm AND 7.00 pm - 7.00 am (7 Days & 7 Nights in. This is a great opportunity to join a world wide leading medical device company in their start up operation in Galway.

The Product Builder will Operate within the production floor, performing the following activities: CNC Machining, NDT Inspection, Finishing and Cosmetic Inspection. Responsible for packaging all products, sterile and non-sterile, purchased or manufactured by Zimmer according to the specifications and requirements established by Zimmer. Must be available to work shifts.


* Operation of CNC equipment for the production of products.
* Operation of finishing equipment for the production of products.
* Correctly performs all steps of cleaning operation
* Accurately identifies cosmetic irregularities
* Performs all NDT Activities.
* Operate a variety of packaging machines to passivate, package, seal and label product to specifications.
* Perform packaging operations with 100% accuracy.
* Performing etching operation on product per the blueprint.
* Visual inspection of parts and paperwork.
* Responsible for the basic preventative maintenance of the equipment and for keeping a clean and organized work area.
* Maintain accurate records and report data on computerized system.
* Exercise assigned responsibility for on-the-job training of less qualified personnel
* Communicates with other Team members and engineers concerning product defects and effectively complete updates on whiteboards.
* Operates as part of a team to achieve productivity Targets.
* Provide support to Warehouse.
* Other Duties that may occur from time to time.


* Experience operating CNC-controlled equipment preferred.
* Familiar with reading and interpreting blueprints.
* Working with precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, comparator, gauges.
* Experience of visual inspection to detect cosmetic irregularities in metal.
* Inspection of paperwork; attention to detail.
* Working in a team/cellular environment.
* Sealing, packaging, and labeling product to specification.
* Following clean room procedures and maintaining a sterile environment as per GMP and OCP requirements.
* Reading and writing legibly and following written procedures and verbal instructions.
* Education Requirements - Leaving certification or equivalent required.
