New opportunity available in the Kerry region for an experienced payroll specialist
The following are the principle responsibilities: - To process payroll in a timely manner
- Timely and accurate processing of the payroll (weekly/monthly).
- Timely and accurate administration of employee benefits.
- Providing help and information to employees on payroll matters.
- Maintaining up to date and accurate records for payroll.
- Ensuring adequate controls are maintained and adhered to.
- Timely payment of taxes to Revenue
- Timely submission of Revenue returns.
- Involvement in other projects/tasks as required.
Requirements - Previous experience in processing payroll - at least 2 years experience.
- Excellent IT skills and competent in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Competent in using a computerised Payroll system
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Confidential and discrete.
- Excellent organisational skills with an ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Team player
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluency in English
- IPASS qualification is an advantage
