New opportunity available in the Kerry region for an experienced payroll specialist

The following are the principle responsibilities:
  • To process payroll in a timely manner
  • Timely and accurate processing of the payroll (weekly/monthly).
  • Timely and accurate administration of employee benefits.
  • Providing help and information to employees on payroll matters.
  • Maintaining up to date and accurate records for payroll.
  • Ensuring adequate controls are maintained and adhered to.
  • Timely payment of taxes to Revenue
  • Timely submission of Revenue returns.
  • Involvement in other projects/tasks as required.


Requirements
  • Previous experience in processing payroll - at least 2 years experience.
  • Excellent IT skills and competent in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Competent in using a computerised Payroll system
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Confidential and discrete.
  • Excellent organisational skills with an ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Team player
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Fluency in English
  • IPASS qualification is an advantage
