POSITION: Software Engineer for Laboratory Informatics
The Company
ORBIS Labsystems provides technology solutions for information management, process optimisation & regulatory compliance to the pharmaceutical, food & beverage, petrochemical and government sectors, both in Ireland and Internationally.
We currently have a vacancy for a Software Engineer to join our Laboratory Automation Team, a service and solutions team responsible for the deployment of Laboratory Informatics solutions.
Background/Requirements
· Engineering, Information Systems or Science Degree
· Systems Design & Analysis, Software programming
· Systems Integration
· Minimum 2 years experience required.
Some further key skills/areas of experience desirable are:
· Programming Languages (various) inc. C#, .NET, JAVA etc.
· Database Experience
· Technical and User Documentation
· Working to structured Project Delivery Cycles
· Communications with Clients
Personal Details :
As personal interaction backed up by knowledge and technical aptitude are critical to this role, we require a dynamic, goal-driven achiever with good communications and interpersonal skills. A proven ability to communicate with Clients, Management and Team Members in an easy manner is vital. Flexibility and willingness to travel is key to this role.
