An Excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Controller to join this leading distributor within the civil engineering and construction sector. As an integral part of the management team and reporting directly to the Managing Director your duties will include:

· Preparation of weekly, monthly/year end management accounts including full reporting analysis.

· Revenue and margin analysis.

· Stock control management / rotation.

· Preparation of budgets and ongoing cashflow forecast and management.

· Monthly financial reporting to group.

· Liaise with banks regarding facilities.

· Support management with key decisions through providing relevant financial information.

Person Specification

You will be fully qualified with a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience. You will be self motivated, commercially minded and possess strong self management abilities. Confidence dealing at a national and international level with a strong knowledge of customs and international tax bands an advantage. You will have played an instrumental role with the installation/ upgrading of a Management Information System (Unison/SXE or similar). Experience with the provision management accounts including analysis and a clear communication style (written & verbal) is essential. Some travel may be required. Excellent career opportunity!
