CAD Technician - Temporary Role Cork Designing and Creating mechanical 2D and 3D AutoCAD Drawings for the Pharmaceutical, Petrochemical, Food, Recycling, Paper and Pulp and Industries.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Drawing P&IDs, Structural, Piping and Civil General Arrangement Drawings in 2D and 3D AutoCAD. Creative problem solving. Organise and maintain engineering drawings, documents, specifications and engineering related databases. Detailing and updating of mechanical drawings and accurately handle engineering releases and revisions.

PRE-REQUISITE SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM THE KEY TASKS:

1. A Diploma, Honors Level 7 or Certification Degree in Mechanical Engineering qualification in a building/engineering discipline. Preferable to have 3D and 2D drafting courses completed as well.

1. At least 2 years experience with using AutoCAD for 2D and 3D drawings in the Pharmaceutical, Petrochemical, Food, Paper and Pulp and Industries.

1. Good understanding of basic drafting standards and using templates.

1. Creative problem solver - ability to find creative solutions with a “can-do” attitude, in a fast paced environment.

1. Strong work ethic - someone who loves to do great work and takes pride in professionalism, responsibility, and proactive.

1. Proficient with Microsoft suite of applications.

1. Support production staff.
