Application Support RPG Programmer with at least 2yrs experience required for permanent role. This role can be based in Cavan or West Dublin.

Responsibilities:

  • Responding to Application Support calls logged via call management system within target SLAs
  • Provide support for the monitoring of key business applications
  • Applying configuration changes to key applications
  • Ensure company standards and procedures are adhered to
  • Contribute to the on-going development of IT standards
  • Application Testing
  • Delivery of project based work to agreed target dates
  • Provide on-call support

Requirements:

  • Hold a relevant IT Qualification.
  • 2 Years+ experience in a similar role.
  • Very strong Technical skills across a number of platforms including operating systems
    RPG, RPG/ILE, CL, SQL
  • Delivery and quality focused.
  • Ability to remain focused under pressure.


Desirable:

  • Clear and concise communicator
  • Ability to balance a number of conflicting priorities and make decisions
  • JAVA, J2EE, HTML
  • Willing and able to adapt to new technologies.
