Statutory Accountant- Financial SSC-Cork

A leading European Financial Services company has a vacancy for a Qualified Statutory Accountant for a 12 month contract based in Cork.

Duties:

  • Prepare and co-ordinate EMEA statutory accounts process
  • Deal with audit firms
  • Ensure statutory audits are conducted efficiently and in a timely manner
  • Liaise with internal departments such as tax, legal and treasury
  • Interface with General Ledger teams in the SSC, AR, AP
  • Month end reporting in line with USGAAP
Requirements:
  • Qualified Accountant
  • 2+ years PQE
  • Strong knowledge of GA processes
  • GAAP and IFRS exposure
  • Experience using an ERP System
  • Fluency in German would be an advantage.
