Our Client, a leading distributor of premium Flooring and Doors are currently recruiting for an experienced Sales Representative/Sales Executive for their state-of-the-art Showroom in Dublin 12.

Some accountabilities of this role will include –

  • To meet with existing clients and to visit potential clients to show off the latest product line to the best of its potential.
  • To be extremely sales oriented & highly knowledgeable about the products in order to competently sale them.
  • To ensure that the right quantity of product reaches their customers' stores at the right time and in saleable condition.
  • Ensure that the showroom is presented and merchandised to a very high standard at all times.
  • The successful candidate will need to be flexible and should expect to work additional hours during certain weeks of the year.
  • Will possess business and people skills to be successful in this role.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills along with a positive personality, the right personality have a good chance of being hired.
  • Strong ability to work on own initiative and make responsible decisions when needs be.
  • Good administration skills, the successful candidate will be expected to understand inventory, pricing forms, sales forms, invoices & credits
  • To be able to use all computer programs and systems associated with the information and all paperwork must be completed on a daily/weekly basis
  • Responsible for a lot of different things at once, so being able to multi-task is a must.
  • Showroom sales staff are in charge of sales and customer service.


Requirements

  • Previous retail sales experience is essential and preferably within the construction retail industry
  • Personal Characteristics/Skills - enthusiastic; friendly; outgoing; good listener; excellent communication and presentation skills; knowledge of manufacturing and retail sectors; good organizational and computer skills.
