Our client, a leading Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Multinational in Sligo, is seeking to recruit an Industrial Pharmacist.
Job Purpose:
Reporting to the site Technical Operations Manager, you will provide manufacturing and technical support to site Drug Product commercial and clinical manufacturing operations. You will contribute significantly to the introduction of new drug product processes to site and to subsequent manufacturing execution.
Job Description:
The position demands an individual who maintains a high degree of urgency, displays excellent interpersonal skills, can manage multiple/complex tasks simultaneously, is capable of performing both in a team, and as an individual contributor, and who can consistently produce excellent results.
Requirements:
B.Sc. in Pharmacy and a high level of relevant industrial experience in manufacturing operations, product development, technical knowledge, regulatory affairs and quality / compliance is essential. Higher qualifications would be preferable.
Industrial experience required in most, if not all, of the following areas:
- Process Development in Drug Product environment
- Management of technical transfer activities to support new product introductions and clinical production programs
- Lend Technical Support in the optimization of new and current processes
- Delivery of Cost Improvement projects/initiatives
- Introduction of leading edge technology to support manufacturing activities
- Writing of Technical Reports to support process changes and investigations
- Writing of Standard Operating Procedures and performance of site training
