SCIENCE OPPORTUNITIES WITH SIGMAR

Job Specification – QC Analyst x 2 (6 month contract):

  • Minimum 2-5 years routine lab experience
  • Should ideally have strong, direct experience of HPLC analysis
  • Good understanding of general lab techniques
  • Dissolution experience preferred
  • Preference for someone with oral dose experience, but not essential
  • Must have a degree in analytical science or equivalent
  • Probably working Days but must be open to Shift work (2 or 3 cycle shift)


Salary: 30-35K depending on experience

Development Analyst x 2 (6 month)

  • A third level qualification in science preferably primary or higher degree
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a Pharmaceutical laboratory environment. Direct experience of HPLC analysis would be an advantage.
  • Good communication, numeracy and IT skills. Familiarity with regulatory compliance and quality assurance in the pharmaceutical industry. Particle Size Analysis, Wet Chemistry
  • Milennium software, MS Windows 2000, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access
  • Method development, Method transfer troubleshooting and validation experience is desirable.
  • Good technical writing abilities.
  • Knowledge in Lean Techniques and principles


Salary: 38-40K depending on experience

Development Scientist (12 months) x 2

  • A third level qualification in science preferablya primary or higher degree
  • 3-5 years experience working a Pharmaceutical environment involved in Product transfer
  • Solid dose experience is a must
People that have worked as Process Scientists/Process Engineers will be considered.

Salary: 50-60K depending on experience

QA Compliance Specialist x 1 – (6 month Contract)

  • A third level qualification in science preferablya primary or higher degree
  • 3-5 years experience working in a QA department within Pharmaceutical
  • Must have experience of Batch and Product re-view.
Salary: 40-45K
