Our client seeks to recruit a Senior Test Engineer for their operation in Wales.
In this role your core duties will include:
Design, develop and implement wafer level test solutions for advanced power
semiconductor devices fabricated in silicon and GaN technologies
Design, debug and validate wafer probe hardware that includes circuitry
needed to make accurate and repeatable measurements in the presence of high
current, high voltage, and fast switching transients
Develop software needed to efficiently implement new test methods on
automated test equipment (ATE)
Assist Operations in resolving technical problems experienced in production
when requested
Required Skills/Capabilities
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
Minimum of 5 years' experience developing high volume production test
solutions for MOSFETs, IGBTs or analog ICs
Strong understanding of electronic engineering principles with an emphasis on
power devices and analog circuits
Sound test language programming skills and experience programming in C /
C++
Demonstrated skills in problem solving, communications and teamwork
Desired Skills/Capabilities
Master of Science degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
Experience with Eagle / Teradyne analog and mixed signal testers
Experience with Cadence PCB tools for schematic capture and layout
