Main purpose of job:
This is a unique opportunity for a top class Electronics Design Engineer to join this dynamic and long established company. The position is technically challenging as well as providing a career path to Senior Management for someone with such ambition.
Working in a team environment, developing innovative solutions for Fire and Gas Detection products and systems.
The design work carried out involves low power analogue, low power radio transceivers and digital electronics and the interfacing of sensors including optical, heat, ionization and carbon monoxide for fire and toxic gas detection. Microcontrollers are used in the company’s high volume manufacture.

Technical Skills Knowledge Experience:
- Honours degree in Electronic Engineering 1.1 or 2.1 preferable
- At least four years relevant experience
- Good software programming skills in assembly and C
- Familiarity with low level RF communication protocols
- Experience of high volume electronics manufacture
- PCB layout for automatic assembly
