Senior Systems Analyst
Agile Software Production /Support Environment
West Dublin, Ireland.

Permanent Job with Salary of €45,000 – 55,000 plus Benefits and Bonus

Eden Recruitment is working closely with the Software Development and Production Support division of a major International Company.

Currently under going expansion here in Ireland, they currently have a requirement for a Senior Systems Analyst for their West Dublin team.

Working within a core Software Development /Production environment this team is responsible for the design, development and implementation of a suite of Client /User based Web Applications utilising Flex, AJAX and Java as tools.

Tasks and Duties:

  • The Senior Systems Analyst will be tasked with working closely with the product team to understand the requirements for each phase of the project; liaising between the product and development teams determining what is in scope for each development phase.
  • Work closely with the development and testing teams to refine functional design and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Verify that the acceptance criteria for each iteration has been met.
  • Working with UI designers to review & design User Interface and ensure application usability.
  • Assist with quality assurance of the application.
This role will require a Senior Systems Analyst with very good interpersonal and communication skills who has experienced working within a fast past and rapidly changing Agile Software production environment.

Technical Skills required for this Senior Systems Analyst role include:

  • A BS degree in Information Technology.
  • At least 5 years experience as a business systems analyst with some of that time being in a web development environment.
  • Experience in Workflow Processing and/or Business Process Management is desirable.
  • Analyst skills and use of appropriate tools and methods, with particular focus on development of functional design or user documentation.
  • Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, strong work ethic, exceptional customer service.
  • Highly motivated with willingness to take ownership / responsibility for their work.
  • Ability to produce excellent product and analysis documentation.
  • Demonstrated experience in writing documentation for projects.
  • Ability to escalate issues in an effective manner and effectively resolve these in conjunction with the rest of the team and/or the customer.
  • Capable of working independently to resolve issues and/or identify solutions.
