Company Description :
The CITA Skillnet is a business led training network established in 2007 to support enterprise-led training under the Training Networks Programme. The CITA Skillnet works with a range of CITA Members and related construction companies, nationally, to address training needs and enhance business competitiveness and effectiveness. Following a successful application for funding of its activities for the period 1st January 2012 to 31st December 2012 the CITA Skillnet is now seeking to recruit a full time Network Manager to ensure the delivery of its proposed activities for this period.
Job Summary :
1. To proactively manage and deliver all aspects of the CITA Skillnet programme of activities as outlined in their Application for Funding as approved by Skillnets Limited.
2. To work closely with the Promoter and Steering Committee of the CITA Skillnet in ensuring that all key performance indicators of the network project are achieved within the budget and time scales laid down in the Funding Contract.
3. To act as the primary contact between the CITA Skillnet and Skillents Limited (the Funding Organisation) in relation to performance monitoring, interim reporting and all other related issues.
4. To develop and consolidate the membership of the CITA Skillnet in line with agreed targets as set out in the funding application.
5. To identify and recruit suitable training companies as providers of training to networks members.
6. To ensure the collection of matching funding is achieved within the time frame of the network project.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities will include the following :
Day to Day liaison with the Network Promoter and Steering Committee Chairperson as required.
Ensuring the sound and efficient operation of all aspects of the networks activities as proposed in the Funding Application.
Routine operation of the Skillnets on-line “SAM System” for the purposes of recording:
- All Network Expenditure and Income
- All Network Activity
- All Membership Details and Profiles
- All Report Productions and Submissions
- Bank Reconciliations
- Payment Requests
Scheduling of all Training Events to include:
- Recruitment of appropriate Training Providers using standard tendering procedures.
- Sourcing and booking of all training venues.
- Organisation of other Network events, workshops and seminars as outlined in the proposal.
- Collection of all Matching Funding from participating companies.
- Preparation of periodic (monthly) reports of Expenditure, Income and Activity.
- Collection of Key Data in relation to training activities to include
Personal details of all participants
Duration, attendance details and description of each training event run.
Evaluation questionnaires for all participants for all events attended.
- Appointment of and liaison with External Evaluator to the network.
- Liaison with certifying bodies i.e. HETAC, in relation to development of any certification standards for training undertaken.
- Development of relevant publicity materials for dissemination to network members and other interested parties.
- Any and all other tasks associated with the proper management and delivery of the Networks objectives as set out in the Funding Application.
Computer Skills:
The operation of the SAM on-line system and the overall duties and responsibilities associated with this role assume as a basic requisite a sound working knowledge in relation to standard computer applications such as WORD, EXCEL, Email and Internet.
