A long standing financial services company based inSouth Dublinwho has built up a reputation as a leading financial services group in the Irish market is seeking a career-minded Assistant Accountant to join their progressive finance team.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, key responsibilities will include the preparation and reviewing of monthly accounts, reconciliations, calculations or analyses as required for this purpose
Duties:
Preparing month-end accounts and reconciliations, analysis and input of payment transactions to accounts ledger, ensuring payments meet international tax reporting requirements, daily treasury processing, monthly accruals and fixed asset reports and weekly cash reporting. Ad hoc projects, procedural improvements and investigations will also be expected as required.
The successful individual will have 3+ years experience of working in a similar role with accounts preparation experience and be part qualified, working towards a full accountancy or accountancy technician qualification as well as being able to demonstrate a high degree of accuracy and numeracy, along with analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven track record in meeting tight deadlines. Confident communication skills and a driven team player are essential for this position. Financial services and SUN accounts experience would be an added advantage.
