Our client is looking for a DW integration architect on a perm or contract basis based in the city centre,
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Define and direct integration strategy based on SOA standards using ESB and Message Broker tools
• Work with sales team to provide technical knowledge and to set the high level system integration requirements around how our products would be integrated with existing customer’s systems Streamline and consolidate existing integration capabilities into a set of industrial standard based integration points
• Identify gaps in integration capabilities and introduce new integration capability when necessary
• Work with technical team and business users to transform business requirements into integration solutions
• Define the overall BI strategy including business model, technical roadmap, platform selection, deployment and operation
• Define and direct overall data warehouse architecture including data modelling, ETL, data dictionary, data mart and analytical frontend
Requirements Skills and Experience:
• Experienced data warehouse architect with broad understanding of all components in a large and complex data warehouse solution
• Knowledge of data warehouse architecture principles, patterns and methodologies and demonstrate expertise in a variety of technology concepts (Kimball preferred)
• Extensive knowledge of data modelling techniques
• Strong Oracle and or SQL Server database background
• Exposure to the educational software environment and familiarity with industry standards and specifications
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
