Key responsibilities for Frozen Food Buyer Dublin: As buying manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and margin in your category. You will define the range; negotiate the terms and source new product while all the while looking at the big picture in terms of your brand position and strategic plan
Some responsibilities for Frozen Food Buyer Dublin will include
- Range strategy. Reviewing product range on a regular and ongoing basis based on best practice category management principles and informed by market and consumer research, marketing and sales department input and supplier innovations
- Sourcing: Manage the sourcing and introduction of Own label product in conjunction with the product development teams to enhance margins and provide consumers with competitive VFM offers.
- Negotiation: Monitoring the performance of all products in terms of volume, margin contribution and market share and taking appropriate steps as necessary to achieve operational targets.RelationshipBuilding: Develop excellent long term supplier and customer relations to ensure supplier support for all aspects of the business and manage customer expectations.
- Price: Assess current pricing and margin performance while reviewing competitor price positioning and maximising margin and competitive position within the market.
