.Net Software Development Manager

 

My client is looking to recruit a .Net Software Development Manager to join their team. Knowledge/ Required Skills:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience. Candidate must have at least 5 years of management or supervisory experience for planning and directing active staff
  • Demonstrated experience as a developer and solutions architect in past experience
  • Foundational knowledge of business and functional areas of the finance and leasing
  • Experience directing and controlling the activities of active staff providing them technical guidance, leadership and mentoring
  • Experience of multiple full release cycles.
  • Understanding of modern software development methodologies
  • Understanding of modern software development tools and SCM.
  • Strong understanding of Basic Database Administration.
  • Business Analysis and Project Management
  • Good verbal and written communication skills; ability to work effectively leading a team.
 

 

Educational/ Qualification:

  • Ideally a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science or equivalent
Responsibilities:

  • Drives change management in the team or immediate organization; takes personal ownership of the IT strategy and drives support of it
    • Manages a team of individual contributors that typically includes more than 50% developers as well as architects, and software engineers; may include other IT resources as well.
    • Understands, articulates, and optimizes application and technical capabilities for use by multiple business and IT constituents; responsible for design and development of applications, system performance tuning, certification and integration of software packages and large system integrations
  • Engineers solutions to meet business requirements. Directs the design and development of software and/or systems architectures. May be responsible for data modeling and database design and management, operating systems management, storage management and vendor management
