Planner required for Cork, permanent position

The key duties and responsibilities of the role include:
  • Generation of the Master Production Schedule
  • Monitoring daily production status and coordinating any schedule adjustments/deviations, as required.
  • Monitor inventory at Distribution Centres and prioritise production as appropriate.
  • Assist in executing processes around managing inter-company orders.
  • Co-ordination of engineering change cut ins with HWV/QA/Production to improve product and minimise obsolescence.
  • Monthly reporting on MOH levels and achieve MOH targets.
  • Bi-annual review of safety stock levels.


Candidates should have:
  • Degree in relevant discipline or APICS
  • At least 1 years' direct experience in a Materials function (Purchasing/Planning/Warehouse/Distribution).
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good negotiation and communication skills, good written and verbal skills, math and analytical skills. Strong Computer Application ability (Excel/ERP systems)
  • Experience of working with computerised systems, ideally JDEdwards.
  • Good time management skills.
  • A flexible approach to work.
