Title: Qualified Financial Accountant
Length of contract - Permanent
Salary 45k-55k DOE

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and review of financial accounting information for the group consolidated financial reporting statements
  • Preparation of financial schedules and reconciliations for accounting transactions processed at group level
  • Working with other professionals in group financial control team to ensure compliance with the accounting and disclosure requirements of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
  • Working closely with other divisions and subsidiaries of the group and external auditors on relevant aspect of the production of annual report
  • Assisting in a variety of projects to improve and develop the financial reporting process that have been initiated across all the key divisions within the group
  • Providing support and cover to both financial and management team members as required
Skills and knowledge required:

  • Qualified accountant / part qualified (ACA or ACCA qualification)
  • Excellent technical accounting skills particularly IFRS and exposure in the practical application in financial services
  • Must be highly motivated with an ability to take ownership and with strong attention to detail
  • Good analytical and problem solving ability
