Role Overview
The Project Manager will consistently meet or exceed client expectations by providing exceptional service, quality and cost efficiency on every project. Develops and maintains relationships by providing superior service and industry, technical and tactical expertise in a client driven production environment while ensuring profitability and growing the business through the identification and implementation of future business solutions.
Essential Responsibilities:
Leads and mentors the team on the operation of clinical trial technologies, specifically IVR and IWR
Consults and advises clients on the workflow or job production process, negotiating timelines and process for project deliverables.
Determines complete project specifications and instructions from client including terminology and style preferences.
Is accountable for the client experience and addressing client needs and concerns.
In service recovery situations maintains client relationships by identifying root cause of service failure and developing a clear recovery
Co-ordinates/communicates with clients, providing production updates as required.
Ensures that time and costs on each project are managed effectively
Formulates and fosters effective working relationships with clients
Follows Best Practices, adheres to regulations and uses appropriate systems.
Identifies opportunities and spearheads initiatives to improve service and process
Manages project margins and ensures profitability
Works with Vendor Management and Project Managers
Identifies opportunities within strategic accounts globally for short and long-term revenue growth
Prepares management information reports and essential data for job invoicing.
Qualifications & Experience
Previous experience in the CRO / Pharmaceutical sector with a clear understanding of technologies specific to CRO’s and the clinical trials process
Knowledge of the Translation / Localization business would be a distinct advantage
Ability to multi-task in a time sensitive and deadline driven work environment and stay cool under pressure
Detail orientated Adaptable and flexible to changing work environment
Ability to work within a team environment
Strong computer skills including PC and proficiency and familiarity with Windows, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, e-mail, and Internet
Third level education in Life Sciences or Information Technology is desirable ·
3-5 years relevant experience in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment with strong understanding of technology
