Area Manager for Ladies Highstreet Fashion

Our client one of Europe’s leading High Street Fashion Retailers is currently seeking to recruit an Retail Manager/Buyer to manage their Retail Business in Ireland.

Like the label our client is seeking a fashion forward, innovative Area Manager / Buying Manager with experience in High Street Fashion within a multinational high street label.

The Role of Area Manager / Buying Manager

  • To drive operational standards throughout the area, to develop business opportunities and brand promotion.
  • To empower and motivate others from a distance.
  • To coach, develop and support the continuous improvement of Branch Managers and their teams.
  • Build a personal profile through a network of productive working relationships across all areas of the business
  • Monitors Visual Merchandising and Model Store Standards to achieve consistency and promote a strong brand image
  • Ensures Area consistently delivers excellent customer service to maximise sales opportunities in line with the company brand
  • Ensures Area audit results are in line with acceptable limits, take action where results are unacceptable
  • Developing and communicating new ideas to drive the business and area forward
  • Use and analyses data to make business decisions
  • Liaise with Buyers, Designers and Space Merchandisers with regards to product selection for Area
  • Analyse sales across the area in terms of linear footage, site mapping and stock holding
  • Ensure excellent margin is maintained.
  • Work with Franchise partners with new store opening, staff training, merchandising standards and purchasing support.


Dublin Based office with the flexibility to travel nationwide and abroad essential

Salary package €45-60k
