Software Engineer with 4+yrs experience with embedded software

Responsibilities:

  • Report on Software Development activities as appropriate to the Software Team Leader.
  • Assist Project Leader with the following tasks as agreed
  • Software Product Line definition & maintenance
  • Implementation of software Reuse Process
  • Ensure that Software Reuse Assets adhere to reuse process
  • Assist project teams with configuration management process, ensuring that reuse assets can be shared across multiple projects
  • Contribute to routine Software Design Reviews, Peer Code Reviews and Software Acceptance Test activities on a regular basis
  • Comply with company Software Quality processes, ISO15504.

Requirements:

  • Graduate in Software Engineering or equivalent
  • 4+ years working with embedded software
  • Embedded Software experience; assembly, C, C++ for 8/16/32 bit micro controllers
  • Familiar with software development models/standards CMMI, ISO15504 etc
  • Experience with Software Product Line Development
  • Experience with Software Reuse
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience with version control and change control tools.
  • Mindset of Continuous Improvement
