The QA Manager will report to the Head of Quality.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
. Report on quality performance on a weekly and monthly basis
. Delivery of SBU budget
. Liaise with customers on technical issues
. Liaise with accreditation bodies and Dept. of Agriculture
. Represent customer requirements for production planning with plant managers and Supply Chain
. Develop and instil recognition of a Quality culture across the Site management team and operations team
. Develop, train and up skill employees in conjunction with site team.
. Communicate quality issues and quality developments
. Manage and continuously improve the entire QA Program
CORE COMPETENCIES:
. Honours degree in Food Science
. Minimum 5+ years' experience in the dairy industry
. Proven track record of strong management skills
. Proven track record of strong tecnical capability
. Excellent knowledge of Quality/ Food Safety Systems and Standards.
