Degree qualified Mechanical Design Engineer or equivalent with industry experience. to design with Solidworks, Mechanical Medical Device Products for a Leading Consultancy operating in Medical Devices, Defence and Aerospace sectors

Role - Mechanical Design Engineer - Medical Devices

Role:
+Understanding of plastic moulding part and tool design (particularly high volume)
* Tolerance analysis for mass production
* Knowledge of assembly processes and good DFMA skills
* Understanding of quality control and risk management
Working knowledge and experience of the regulatory environment in the USA and EU

Essential Requirements:
* Minimum 2:1 degree in Mechanical Engineering or related subject
* High level of proficiency in 3D CAD systems; preferably SolidWorks
* Experience and knowledge of FEA modelling
* Substantial experience in system or product design; from concept, through to detail design, to scale-up and volume manufacturing
* Intuitive understanding of risk management

* The ability to innovate and think freely
* Proven track record of working individually and in teams of highly skilled engineers in a complex technical project-based environment
* Energy and enthusiasm to take on new challenges in a range of industry sectors
* Adaptability and flexibility

* Numerate and highly computer literate, with excellent analytical skills;
