Assistant Manager – Loan Recovery

We are currently recruiting an assistant manager to ensure the effective operation of a team with a common goal of maximising the recovery of assigned portfolios. The role is based in Cork paying €55,000 per annum on a 2 year fixed term contract.

To be considered for interview your skills and experience will include:

  • QFA qualified
  • 3+ years experience supporting the management of a portfolio consisting of land & development sectors
  • Understanding of tax, legal and accounting regulations
  • Lending experience, ideally in the Corporate space
  • Recoveries experience
  • Leadership and negotiation experience
  • Delegation and Project Management skills
  • Ability to write and present land & development credit applications

Upon successful hire you will assume responsibility for:

  • Responsible for completion of due diligence reports
  • Assist Senior Manager to manage the assigned loan portfolio
  • Develop credit papers prior to presentation at Credit Committee
  • Assist in the preparation of client, legal & drawdown documentation
  • Act as point of contact for queries from clients, financial advisors and the Bank’s professional advisors.
