Environmental Health & Safety Co-Ordinator - Permanent - Kildare

Our client is a well-known Irish food company, and they are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic candidate to join their team as an EHS Coordinator. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a proactive attitude to foster a robust EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) culture throughout their organisation.
Key Responsibilities:

• Promote EHS Culture: Actively engage with employees at all levels to cultivate a strong EHS culture within the organisation.
• Effective Communication: Clearly articulate safety procedures and regulations to ensure understanding and compliance.
• Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in computer applications and Microsoft Office for data management and reporting.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively within a team and take initiative when required.
• Administrative Skills: Exhibit excellent administrative and literacy skills to compile and produce comprehensive reports.
• Attention to Detail: Pay meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all EHS-related activities.
• Compliance Enforcement: Work with departmental managers to enforce relevant laws and regulations while maintaining a firm but consultative approach.

Requirements:

• Possess a qualification in Health & Safety.
• Ideally, have 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Report directly to the EHS Manager
• Must have good English.
