Matrix Recruitment are currently working with their client who are recruiting for a Sales Managers. The position can be based in their offices in Kilkenny or Brussels. The ideal candidate will come from a Food / Science background.

Responsibilities

  • To develop & grow sales with full budget and margin responsibility, into selected product sectors throughout EMEA.
  • To drive product innovation through the marketing of new ingredients and new scientific research.
  • Account management responsibility including customer relationship management and account planning & prioritization.
  • Provide R&D with direction and commercial insights to shape and deliver product innovation.
  • To build and provide strong sector knowledge to accelerate sales and innovation
Essential Criteria

  • At least 5 yrs related experience with nutritional ingredients sales and business development, preferably within sports, clinical nutrition or health and wellness sectors.
  • Bachelor’s Degree, in a scientific background ( preferably sports nutrition, clinical nutrition, human physiology or related science)
  • Strong commercial background combined with high levels of creativity.
  • Keen interest in both sports and nutrition.
  • Proven track record in business development
  • Must be willing to travel approximately 30-50%.
Position can potentially be home office based but preferably based at the Glanbia Nutritionals Office in either Brussels or Kilkenny, Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a market leading company.
