Nora Clancy has been appointed as senior director of global compliance and audit at digital CX firm TELUS Digital Experience (previously TELUS International). Nora is a chartered accountant with extensive experience in audit, risk and compliance. She leads the global compliance team, maintaining a consistent standard of information security compliance across the firm’s sites in four continents. She is a member of the TELUS Digital Ireland senior leadership team. As senior director, her responsibilities now extend to oversight of cyber risk management practices, integration of new acquisitions, ensuring the security of customer information and collaboration with legal and privacy teams on regulatory compliance matters.
Jason Ward has been appointed as vice-president for EMEA North and managing director of Dell Technologies Ireland. He will help customers and partners to transform their organisations using AI and take advantage of the latest technologies in cybersecurity, intelligent edge, multicloud, 5G and Generative AI. Jason had led the Irish business since 2020, and was VP for Medium Business Western Europe for two years. He was previously held the role of managing director of the enterprise business in the Nordics. Most recently, Jason led the Dell Technologies EMEA Global Alliances team as it delivered advanced digital solutions to partners and Cloud Service Providers.
Maxine Hands has been appointed as head of global media and digital with Tourism Ireland, based in in Dublin. She will manage the global media and digital team, leading its strategy and consumer digital platforms. Maxine brings 20 years of multidisciplinary marketing and business experience, spanning media, digital, marketing, consumer insights and market analysis. She was formerly general manager of dentsu X and business director of Vizeum and dentsu X – working with Irish and global brands such as IKEA, Permanent TSB, Kerry Foods and RTÉ. Over her career, Maxine was also business director on L’Oréal, Coca-Cola, General Mills, H&M, British Airways and Tommy Hilfiger.
Tadhg Clandillon has been appointed as managing director of New Ireland, a member of the Bank of Ireland Group. Richard Jones, interim MD of New Ireland, takes up the position of Director in group strategy and transformation, with responsibility for Wealth & Insurance. Tadhg has almost three decades of experience in the Irish and international life insurance industry and joins New Ireland from Athora Ireland where he was CEO for the last six years. He was previously chief financial officer at Aegon Ireland, which he joined from Irish Life in 2008. New Ireland Assurance Company protects c.600,000 customers and has €24bn in assets under management.
Louise Dennison O’Shaughnessy has been appointed as director of mental health and wellness with EHS International, the environmental, health and safety company owned by Chris Mee. EHS currently has a team of over 100 spanning Ireland and the UK. Louise was previously the founder of Dennison Training Academy, a provider of advanced mental health training newly acquired by EHS International. The Dennison Training Academy has a diverse client base, including IrishJobs.ie, VOYA Organic Beauty, Magna International, MSLETB, Mainline, DDLETB, and Bulgari. “Joining forces with EHS International is an exciting step forward. Chris Mee is a true expert in the EHS field,” said Louise.
Ray Brash has been appointed as chief operating officer (COO) with digital payments company CleverCards. A fintech leader with over 30 years of experience in the UK and Europe, he previously co-founded PPS, now Edenred Payment Solutions. He has also held CFO and CEO roles with fintech firms including Revolut, Monese, TIDE and Virgin Money. He formed a joint venture with Mastercard and sold PPS to Edenred, leading a team that designed and delivered highly innovative payment solutions for meal vouchers, employee benefits, incentives, virtual supplier payments, payroll and fuel cards in over 30 countries
