Here is a selection of people starting new roles with Lewis Silkin, the Irish Beverage Council (Ibec), RDJ, Network Ireland, Hometree and Waterways Ireland.

Joanne Hyde has joined law firm Lewis Silkin as a partner in Dublin, bringing its team to 19 lawyers across Ireland. She joins from Eversheds Sutherland Ireland, where she led the employment team. She brings 30 years of experience in private practice and in-house with tech firm Intel. Joanne is a specialist the Irish employment law, and has strong international connections. Her clients include some of the largest multinational employers operating in Ireland. She advises on the employment law challenges arising from employment disputes and strategic HR issues, and on defending complex employment litigation in all employment law adjudicatory bodies and civil courts in Ireland.

Keith Nelson, country manager of innocent Ireland since 2020, has been appointed as chair of the Irish Beverage Council, the Ibec group representing the non-alcohol beverage industry. He succeeds Agnese Filippi, country manager of Coca Cola Ireland, who has served as IBC chair since January 2023. Keith will be a key influence in directing IBC’s strategy as it represents an industry at the heart of Ireland’s economy. The non-alcohol beverage industry in Ireland employs over 3,500 people directly, supporting 3,000 jobs indirectly. “This is an exciting period as the beverage sector continues to play an important role in the Irish economy and lead in sustainability,” said Keith.

Lisa Mansfield has been appointed as a partner in the dispute resolution practice of law firm RDJ. Lisa specialises in dispute resolution, with her core area of practice being commercial litigation, including advising insurers in professional indemnity litigation and inter-company disputes. Lisa represents a broad range of national and international clients, in the private and public sectors, in all aspects of contentious litigation in Court, as well as in alternative dispute resolution processes including mediation, arbitration and regulatory investigations. “Lisa is a talented solicitor who has demonstrated exemplary commitment to the firm and to our clients,” said Ronan Geary, head of RDJ’s dispute resolution group.

Amy O’Sullivan has taken up the role of national president of Network Ireland. ‘Breaking Barriers’ is Amy’s theme for 2025. She succeeds 2024 Linda Codoul as president. A digital marketing and social media consultant, Amy worked in a variety of sales and marketing roles with Irish and international brands before setting up her own business, AOS Consulting, in 2019. She is a qualified trainer who facilitates social media workshops as part of the suite of services her company offers to businesses and marketing teams, including strategic social media management, content creation, branding, and website design. She holds a degree in Economics, Politics and Law from DCU.

Marina Conway has been appointed as head of woodlands and land partnerships with Hometree, whose ambitious mission to restore and expand Ireland’s native woodlands. She is a former CEO of Western Forestry Co-operative, and has championed community-led forestry initiatives and sustainable practices rooted in collaboration and innovation. Marina brings over 20 years of experience in forestry, sustainable land management, and climate change policy. In her new role, Marina will lead Hometree’s efforts to restore ancient and long-established woodlands along Ireland’s west coast, working closely with landowners, communities, and policymakers. She will develop large-scale, multi-stakeholder projects and advancing funding mechanisms to support nature restoration at scale.
