AirNav Ireland – Director of Human Resources
AirNav Ireland, the national provider of air navigation services, is seeking to appoint a Director of Human Resources to join its Executive Management Team.
A commercial semi state organisation, AirNav Ireland employs approximately 700 staff across a number of locations, including Dublin, Shannon and Cork, and operates a critical national infrastructure with annual revenues in excess of €200 million, funded through services to airline customers.
The organisation has experienced sustained growth in both air traffic volumes and revenues in recent years, reflecting rising demand for its services and underscoring its pivotal role in enabling Ireland’s global connectivity and economic activity.
Reporting to the Chief Executive, this is a key leadership role responsible for shaping and delivering the organisation’s people strategy, supporting operational performance, and fostering an inclusive, high performing culture in a complex, safety critical and highly regulated environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading HR strategy aligned with organisational objectives
- Advising the Executive on workforce planning, organisational risk and people strategy
- Providing leadership on industrial relations, including engagement with representative bodies
- Overseeing talent management, succession planning and organisational development
- Ensuring robust HR governance, compliance and best practice
The ideal candidate will have:
- Significant senior HR leadership experience in a complex, regulated or safety critical environment
- A strong track record in industrial relations and stakeholder engagement
- Deep knowledge of Irish employment law and HR practice
- Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills
- A strategic, delivery focused approach
